North London duo Gove and Jay (aka Sabre & Stray) capped out 2020 dropping 15 tracks in as many weeks across autumn and winter in a trilogy of E’s. Stepping into the new year that same chorus of frequent releases is set to continue with a run of monthly singles leading up to the summer, drawing from broader influences and toying with novel adaptations on their established electronica-meets-hiphop aesthetic.

Colliding drill-inspired percussion & dubbed out Basic Channel spaciousness, ‘Suzuki’ begins as a roving, gliding expedition across a 303 landscape - decaying and reincarnating in a more agitated form; borrowing Jerseyan bassdrum cadences. With the flipside ‘Paradise Pistol’, a drowsy march of sludgy distortion, obnoxious sirens and less-is-more percussion carries you on a grumpy pendulum from A section to B section and so the pattern continues.
